In twenty seven months, Mr. Rajiv Gandhi has notched up world records of travelling maximum miles, attending maximum conferences, making maximum speeches and visiting maximum countries. No Prime Minister or President of any country is likely to break his record.

Let us pray that he may have more leisure to deal with problems of India in year 1987, his ministers can continue for a year, his relationship with senior officers will be cordial, and he may get the new finance minister who may be able to wipe out likely deficit of six thousand crore rupees and can fulfill all financial promises which the Prime Minister has given to states.
