Somerset Maugham rightly said "What mean and cruel things men do for the love of God" and Ahmedabad riots have proved what Pascal said "Man never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

It is high time to shed hatred and live together and follow Martin Luther King Jr. directions, "We have learnt to fly in the air like a bird and to swim in the sea like a fish. But we have not learned the simple act of living together."
