What We Can do ?....

  1. We do not love our country like a mother, who loves her child even if the child is blind or invalid. Our problems can be solved without difficulty, if we love our country like a mother.

  2. India has continued as an independent democratic country for 53 years with a population of 100 crore inspite of warnings of Lord Birkenhead, Secretary of State (1925) that India is not a nation. We have population of Dravidian - Age, Industrial Age, Computer Age, and Space Age. English language and Railways have kept us united.

  3. We are prisoners of our beliefs. Ministers, M.P's, M.L.A., Judges and Agriculturists believe that they are entitled to get free facilities without paying tax and we belong to different class of society. The above approach of each one of them should be changed. The period of "Free-Lunch" is over. They should accept reality and voluntarily accept that all facilities should be treated as perquisites and tax should be charged. Dr. Raja J. Chelliah in his report 1991 had recommended to tax all allowances of the M.P.'s. The citizens of India will not pay their taxes unless above class of people change their beliefs and attitudes on the above subject. The pension of Mr. Bill Clinton, President of U.S.A. was fixed about 1,57,000 Dollars per-year, and the pension is taxable and no Bunglow or premises is allotted to him. He had to purchase his own bunglow. U.S.A. dominates the world on sacrifices of their leaders and on their systems, where every one is treated equally.

  4. Two major problems face the country. Water & Unemployment. There are six crore people, 2 core 79 lacs organised employees, rest professionals, businessmen and rich agriculturists. Let each one of them save water by making percolating wells or by such other method so that water is saved and preserved for the future generations.

  5. Let well placed six crore people multiplied by 5-members = 30 crore people decide and follow one principle in the life.

"I will not die as debtor to society. I will donate my eyes and will try to create as many jobs as possible.

" Unemployment problem can be solved on change of attitude of above people.

  6. Let each of six crore people adopt one family without offending dignity of them and help them by giving so many extra things lying in our houses. Help them in their education and managing their finances and impart importance of family planning. On our efforts, life of other 30 crore people can be made worthwhile to live.

  7. Buddhism has enumerated some acts of merit. Let each one of us rise to the occasion in this difficult times facing the country and follow atleast two acts of merit namely.

    • Render service and attend on others promptly.

    • Give your share of merits to others.

  8. Poverty - Donation Mrs Kiran Vasant Desai left for heavenly abode in an accident on 05.03.1989. She had left her house on 22/06/1951 in order to join me, without wearing chappals. She was enrolled as an advocate in 1964 and practiced in the High Court of Gujarat. She was the secretary of Gujarat High Court Bar Association.

She had practiced as a notary for period of 13 years and notarised hundreds of wills. The testator executing the will did not give monies to the institutions working for the society or to the deserving persons. The attitude of the testator has not changed as I have also notarised number of wills since 1990.

There are about 83000 Parsis in India. To give donations is part of their Dharma. One of the Tata Family members executed the will, and gave entire wealth by creating the trust. The trustees managed the trust well and India has got four different Tata Institutes including Tata Cancer Hospital which are rendering services to the public at large without any distinction of caste or creed.

No State Government or the Central Government of India can solve problems of poor people and eradicate poverty. Everyone has got his own cot, table, chair and cup-board. Can we not make an arrangement to give above things after us to deserving needy persons ?

The above provision can elevate the standard of living of millions without any cost.
